Nadja Swarovski to step down from firm position

The board of Swarovski Worldwide Holding AG and Nadja Swarovski collectively introduced that she is going to step down from the corporate on the finish of December 2021. 

Swarovski was a member of the corporate’s govt board and spearheaded the model and sustainability technique of the 126 year-old household enterprise, in addition to chairing the Swarovski Basis that she established in 2013. 

She leaves to pursue a profession change after 26 years within the household enterprise, whereas remaining concerned with the Swarovski Basis as chair emeritus.  

Swarovski joined the corporate in 1995 and have become the primary feminine member of Swarovski’s govt board. She initiated a programme of collaboration between the jewelry model and “main figures” in style and jewelry, in addition to supporting design expertise by means of the Swarovski Collective initiative. 

Moreover, in 2007 she arrange Atelier Swarovski, the corporate’s style, sustainably-crafted jewelry, equipment and residential décor line with crystal craftsmanship. She oversaw the road’s implementation of created diamonds and fair-trade metals inside its jewelry.

The road has had over 250 collaborations with “prime” worldwide designers in style and jewelry, together with Christopher Kane, Victor and Rolf, Jean Paul Gaultier and Karl Lagerfeld. 

Luisa D. Delgado, chair of the board of administrators of Swarovski Worldwide, mentioned: “It’s with deep gratitude that we acknowledge Nadja’s indelible imprint on the enterprise. Her contribution over time has been decisive in bringing Swarovski to the forefront of the style business.”

Markus Langes-Swarovski, member of the board of administrators, added: “We’re grateful for her continued involvement within the Swarovski Basis, that is a crucial pillar of the sustainability dedication of the Swarovski enterprise and household.”

Swarovski mentioned: “I’m deeply grateful for the expertise of working in my household’s enterprise and particularly very carefully with my father, Helmut Swarovski, who taught me a lot. My time on the Swarovski firm has been essentially the most rewarding journey.

“What began with creativity and design has culminated in human empowerment and sustainability, and utilizing Swarovski’s platform to help the atmosphere and the group has been the best privilege of my profession.”
